ECDC publishes epidemiological update on ‘monkeypox’

The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) published an epidemiological update on monkeypox on Tuesday 31 May.

The ECDC reports that 321 confirmed cases have been reported in 17 EU and European Economic Area (EEA) countries since the beginning of the outbreak and up to 31 May. Outside the EU/EEA, the figure is 136 confirmed cases.
