European standardisation bodies’ decision-making process, Member States will adopt their position on Wednesday 11 May

The adoption of a general approach by the Council of the EU on the proposed revision of the Regulation on the European standardisation organisations, originally scheduled for Friday 6 May, has been postponed to Wednesday 11 May.

This revision proposal(see EUROPE B12882A3) aims to ensure that the entire internal decision-making process concerning the development of European standards by the European Standards Organisations at the request of the European Commission is carried out...
