Division between political groups in European Parliament over ‘European Chips Act’ and ‘Secure Connectivity Constellation’ proposals is becoming clearer

Brussels, 22/03/2022 (Agence Europe) – TheEuropean Chips Act legislation should go to an S&D group MEP of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) while the regulation for a Secure Connectivity Constellation should go to a Renew Europe group member, according to an agreement reached between ITRE Committee coordinators, as reported on Tuesday 22 March. As for the ‘Data Act’ dossier, we were told that it will also go to the EPP.(PH)
