Angelika Winzig calls on European telephone operators to eliminate roaming charges for Ukrainian refugees

15/03/2022 (Agence Europe) – Austrian MEP Angelika Winzig (EPP) called on European telephone operators on Tuesday 15 March to make roaming charges free for Ukrainian refugees. “By temporarily suspending the wholesale ceilings that European operators charge their Ukrainian partners, they could make a real difference to the lives of the many people fleeing to the EU at the moment.
