The European Court of Human Rights announced late on Tuesday that, in the current war context, Kyiv had formally asked it to “suspend the examination of all applications against Ukraine until further notice”. This request was made in a letter dated 24 February.
In response and “following the military attack of February 2022”, the Court decided to do so for all “cases in which Ukraine is a respondent or an applicant government”.
