17/02/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 17 February the European Commission published an implementing regulation imposing a definitive anti-dumping duty on certain iron or steel fasteners originating from China. A complaint was filed in November 2020 by the European Industrial Fasteners Institute, which represents 25% of the EU’s production of iron and steel fasteners. Following its analysis, the Commission found injury to the European industry and therefore decided to impose a tariff ranging from 22.1 to 86.5% on these Chinese products.
