17/02/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 16 February, Slovakia submitted to the European Commission its national strategy plan for implementing the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) beginning 1 January 2023. The European Commission has now received strategic plans from 23 EU countries (see EUROPE 12886/4). The latecomers are Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria and Romania, to whom the European Commission has sent reminder letters for the prompt submission of their strategic plans. The European Commission is assessing the EU countries’ strategic plans and will inform them of any changes that need to be made to ensure that they best meet the EU’s objectives. (LC)
