Majority of MEPs support immediate implementation of ‘Rule of law conditionality’ regulation

A majority of MEPs in a debate in Strasbourg on Wednesday 16 February felt that there was no time to lose before launching proceedings against Poland and Hungary under the regulation making the payment of EU funds conditional on respect for the Rule of law, after the EU Court of Justice gave the green light (see EUROPE B12892A1).
