European Commission consults on amendment of European Standardisation Regulation

03/02/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 3 February, the European Commission opened a contribution period on the amendment of Regulation 1025/2012 on European Standardisation, in connection with the strategy on standardisation presented the day before (see EUROPE B12882A3). The aim is to reduce the influence of external actors on European standards and to provide “greater clarity” to ensure that the whole internal decision-making process of the European Standards Organisations (ESOs)...
