Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe validates Russian delegation’s credentials to maintain “political dialogue”

27/01/2022 (Agence Europe) – The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe ratified the credentials of the Russian delegation on Wednesday 26 January (97 votes in favour, 41 against). These were challenged at the opening of the plenary on Monday by representatives of the Ukrainian and Lithuanian delegations, supported by the required number of parliamentarians from five national delegations.
