European Commission allocates a further €21.5 million in humanitarian aid

17/12/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission has allocated an additional €21.5 million in humanitarian aid to countries in the Horn of Africa (southern and central Somalia, eastern and northern Kenya) to support the region, which is facing one of its worst droughts in decades. “This additional funding will strengthen emergency water supplies, cash assistance, food and nutrition assistance, and health care services”, EU Commissioner for Crisis Management Janez Lenarčič said...
