29/10/2021 (Agence Europe) – Contrary to what we reported in our EUROPE B12822A16 edition, the report by Sweden's Abir Al-Sahlani (Renew Europe) on new legal channels for migration to the EU, including economic migration, is an own-initiative report. It is based on Articles 79 and 225 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union and on Rule 47 of the European Parliament’s Rules of Procedure, giving the European Parliament the right to ask the Commission to submit any...
