EU ministers support Spain’s bid to chair Committee on World Food Security

12/10/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 12 October, the EU agriculture ministers supported the candidacy of the Spaniard Gabriel Ferrero (ambassador) for the chair of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The new chair of the CFS will hold the office for two years after elections to be held on 14 October 2021. All the EU agriculture ministers who spoke (around twenty) supported this “excellent” Spanish bid....
