Green/EFA group in European Parliament proposes new regulation to control arms exports

The Greens/EFA group in the European Parliament, and in particular MEPs Hannah Neumann (Germany) and Alviina Alametsä (Finland), proposed, on Tuesday 12 October, a new regulation for the EU to further regulate arms exports. 

For them, it is necessary to ensure that arms produced in the EU do not fuel armed conflicts and human rights violations.
