Despite the difficulties encountered by some EU Member States to meet the deadlines, the European Commission invited the Ministers of Agriculture, on Monday 11 October in Luxembourg, to submit their strategic plan on the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) by the end of 2021.
The national strategy plans must be approved by the Commission by 2022 at the latest to allow the new CAP to enter into force on 1 January 2023.
