First proposal for assistance under post-2020 Globalisation Adjustment Fund

08/10/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 7 October, the European Commission proposed a grant of €1.2 million under the 2021-2027 European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) to help 300 former metal workers in the Spanish Basque Country who were made redundant because of the coronavirus pandemic. This is the first application for support under the new regulation for the period 2021-2027 (see EUROPE B12625A27). (PH)
