23/09/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 22 September, the Member States’ ambassadors to the European Union (Coreper) adopted their position at first reading with a view to formally validating the Interinstitutional Agreement on the proposal for a directive to increase public country by country reporting (CBCR)(see EUROPE B12737A20). Cyprus and Sweden voted against the agreement and the Czech Republic, Ireland, Luxembourg and Malta abstained.
