European Parliament Committee to vote on CAP reform texts on 9 September

03/09/2021 (Agence Europe) – On 9 September, the European Parliament’s Committee on Agriculture will vote on the compromise texts reforming the common agricultural policy (CAP). The lawyer-linguists of the European institutions are currently working on finalising the final texts (strategic plans, common market organisation and horizontal regulation), which should then be voted on in the European Parliament plenary in October or November (see EUROPE 12769/11). Meanwhile, the Member States are finalising their draft national strategy plans for the CAP, which will be submitted to the European Commission before the end of the year. (LC)
