European Commission consults on future EU27 reporting obligations on sewage sludge in agriculture

30/08/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 30 August, the European Commission launched a public consultation – which will remain open until 27 September – on a draft implementing decision regarding the use of sewage sludge in agriculture. The aim of the initiative is to simplify and update reporting by Member States on the implementation of certain EU directives in the waste sector (amendment of Decision 94/741/EC).
