The Council of the European Union confirmed on Monday 30 August the removal of the United States, Israel, Lebanon, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Montenegro from the list of third countries whose residents can travel to the EU again for non-essential reasons.
The process had been initiated late last week and corresponds to a worsening health situation in these countries where Covid-19 cases are on the rise (see EUROPE B12778A5).
