European Commission extends scope of General Block Exemption Regulation

On Friday 23 July, the European Commission adopted an extension of the General Block Exemption Regulation (GBER) scope, which will allow the Member States to implement certain aid measures.

The revised rules (see https://bit.ly/3BB4eoE) concern aid granted by national authorities to projects funded via certain programmes under the new Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) and certain State aid measures that support the green and digital transition.
