European Parliament calls for immediate release of Swedish-Iranian professor Ahmadreza Djalali

The European Parliament on Thursday 8 July adopted a joint resolution by The Left, Greens/EFA, Renew Europe, S&D, ECR, and EPP groups (666 votes in favour, 5 against and 16 abstentions) calling for the annulment of the imminent execution of Swedish-Iranian professor Ahmadreza Djalali, for him to be pardoned, for his immediate and unconditional release, and for his return to Sweden.

MEPs also call on Iran to drop all charges against all EU nationals and British nationals arbitrarily...
