EU institutions to resume negotiations on CAP reform in mid-June

Negotiations between the EU institutions on the common agricultural policy (CAP) reform will soon resume at an unabated pace with a view to finalising an agreement by the end of June (see EUROPE B12731A3).

Negotiators from the European Parliament, the Council of the EU, and the European Commission found on 28 May, after three days of intense negotiations, that they were unable to reach a political agreement on the reformed CAP, which will enter into force on 1 January 2023...
