European Parliament committee approves report on trade-related implications of Covid-19

The draft own-initiative report by Kathleen Van Brempt (S&D, Belgium) on the trade impact of Covid-19 was adopted by members of the European Parliament’s Committee on International Trade (INTA) by 29 votes to 3 with 9 abstentions on Tuesday 25 May. 

It details the European Parliament’s vision for future EU trade policy, closely linked to environmental objectives and urgent health needs (see EUROPE B12699A18).
