MEPs give green light to €484.2 million in EU Solidarity Fund aid

11/05/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 10 May the European Parliament’s Committee on Budgets approved the proposal to mobilise the European Union Solidarity Fund to grant financial assistance to Greece and France for natural disasters between August and October 2020, as well as to 17 Member States and three acceding countries for the public health emergency caused by Covid-19 in 2020 (see EUROPE B12705A12).
