EU announces 210 million euros in humanitarian aid for Sahel and Central Africa

Vulnerable people in the Sahel and Central African countries will benefit from 210 million euros in EU humanitarian aid this year, the European Commission announced on Tuesday 11 May.

For the Sahel, these funds will be distributed as follows: 35.5 million euros for Chad, 32.3 million euros for Niger, 31.9 million euros for Mali, 24.3 million euros for Burkina Faso and 10 million euros for Mauritania.
