European Commission launches a period of feedback on a proposal for a regulation on machinery products

27/04/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission launched a period of feedback on Monday 26 April on a proposal for a regulation on machinery products to replace the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. The aim is to update the regulatory framework to take account of the emergence of new technologies, in particular artificial intelligence, and to strengthen the cybersecurity aspects.
