15/04/2021 (Agence Europe) – The Council of the EU decided on Thursday 15 April to sanction the Franco-Turkish Mesut Şekerci under the EU sanctions regime against the Islamic State organisation and Al-Qaeda and individuals, groups, companies and entities associated with them. Mr Şekerci is now subject to a travel ban and an asset freeze. Finally, EU persons and entities are prohibited from making funds available to him.
