Opening of second phase of public consultation on sustainable products

17/03/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 17 March, the European Commission launched the second phase of the public consultation on the future proposal for a Sustainable Products Directive. Scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year, this initiative will review the EU Ecodesign Directive (2009/125) and propose, if necessary, additional legislative measures to make products on the EU market more sustainable (see EUROPE 12564/27).
