Portuguese Presidency of EU Council proposes to amend categories of energy infrastructure in TEN-E Regulation revision

The Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union sent to the Member States, on Thursday 11 March, new compromise proposals for the revision of the EU Regulation (347/2013) on Trans-European Energy Networks (TEN-E). 

These new proposals include the categories of energy infrastructure to be developed (Annex II of the European Commission’s revision proposal – see EUROPE B12623A3, B12618A9).

The Presidency thus suggests a new category for “any equipment or installation...
