Commission does not agree to an inequitable distribution of Covid-19 vaccines amongst Member States

12/03/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission merely recalled the procedure for group purchases of Covid-19 vaccines on Friday 12 March, after Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz criticised an unfair redistribution of vaccine doses between Member States. “The central element is the population distribution key. A Member State may call for all or fewer doses to which it is entitled. A new distribution key for the remaining doses is established as a result of these discussions....
