Concerned by violence in Dakar, EU calls for dialogue and restraint

08/03/2021 (Agence Europe) – In a statement issued by its delegation and delegations of Member States in Dakar, the EU on Sunday 7 March called for restraint and dialogue following the violence that led to several deaths in Senegal during demonstrations following the arrest of MP and main opponent Ousmane Sonko on 3 March.
