Council recommendations on inclusion of Romani communities being adopted by Member States

Member States’ ambassadors to the EU (Coreper) are expected to decide on Wednesday 10 March to use the written procedure to adopt a set of recommendations “on equality, inclusion and participation” of Romani communities (see EUROPE B12576A9).

“The required unanimity has been reached” in the EU Council working group on social issues, confirms a note sent to Coreper at the beginning of last week, of which EUROPE has obtained a copy.
