MEPs give green light to agreements on ‘Justice’ and ‘Rights and Values’ programmes 2021–2027

04/02/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 4 February, the European Parliament's Committee on Civil Liberties (LIBE) and the Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI) approved the outcome of the negotiations held between the Council of the EU and the European Parliament on the 'Rights and Values' programme (52 votes in favour, 14 against and 2 abstentions) and on the 'Justice' programme (67 votes in favour, 13 against and 6 abstentions) for the 2021–2027 period (see EUROPE B12030A12).
