A new digital portal to facilitate Europeans’ access to certain public services

11/12/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission announced on Friday 11 December that on Saturday it will launch a new single digital gateway to provide citizens and businesses with information on working and studying rules in the different Member States. This portal, provided for in the Regulation establishing a single digital gateway (see EUROPE 12026/15), complements the existing online tool ‘Your Europe’, which aims in particular to provide citizens with information on their rights, obligations and administrative procedures, while guiding them to the relevant national sites. This portal and its information will be certified by a ‘Your Europe’ label. By 2023, it should be fully operational and provide all relevant national procedures to cross-border users. (PH)
