Agreement between EU Council and European Parliament on Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund for 2021–2027 period

The Council of the EU and the European Parliament reached an agreement on Wednesday 9 December on the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund for the 2021–2027 period, according to a press release from the European Parliament. The Fund amounts to €9.882 billion in current prices.

It will have to cover the common asylum policy, develop legal migration in line with economic and social needs of Member States, promote the effective integration and social inclusion of non-Member State...
