European Commission approves new German protected designation of origin

24/11/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 24 November, the European Commission approved the application for ‘Würzburger Stein-Berg’ wine from Germany to be included in the community’s protected designation of origin (PDO) register. ‘Würzburger Stein-Berg’ is a designation that includes white wines produced in the Würzburg area of Bavaria.
