Refusing to make any concessions on the rule of law, MEP Domènec Ruiz Devesa (S&D, Spain), believes it is possible to get around the Hungarian and Polish obstruction of the 2021-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) (see EUROPE B12605A1). According to him, several articles of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union make it possible, without requiring unanimity of the Member States, to move forward and implement the European Recovery Plan, from which Hungary and Poland...
