European Parliament approves €823 million in aid for eight Member States under EU Solidarity Fund

24/11/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European Parliament gave the green light (682 votes in favour, 8 against and 2 abstentions) on Tuesday 24 November to paying out an envelope of €823 million under the European Union Solidarity Fund (EUSF). More than €692 million is earmarked for Croatia for damage caused by the March earthquake, as well as the consequences of the pandemic. €124 million will go to Germany, Ireland, Greece, Spain, Hungary and Portugal to address the coronavirus health...
