28/10/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 28 October, the European Commission officially appointed Céline Gauer (France) as head of the Task Force responsible for monitoring, within the Secretariat-General of the European institution, the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Facility, the budgetary instrument at the heart of the Next Generation EU Recovery Plan (see EUROPE 12535/10). Mrs Gauer was previously Under-Secretary General. Within the Task Force, the Commission has also appointed Johanns Luebking from Germany as Senior Advisor and Coordinator on the budgetary process of the European Semester.
