Greens/EFA group chooses Anna Cavazzini to head Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection

14/10/2020 (Agence Europe) – The Greens/EFA group announced on Wednesday 14 October that, in a group meeting that had taken place that morning, it elected German MEP Anna Cavazzini to take over the chair of the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO), which was left vacant following the departure of Belgium’s Petra de Sutter to take up a ministerial post in the new Belgian government (see EUROPE B12572A37). We are told that Cavazzini was the only candidate to...
