European Bauhaus, Ursula von der Leyen’s project to bring together sustainability, art and culture

On Wednesday 14 October, the President of the European Commission gave more details about her idea for a “European Bauhaus” which she had previously mentioned in her State of the Union speech last month (see EUROPE B12562A35). She explained that it will be a project in three phases, which, among other things, will select five European projects related to sustainability, art and culture.
