MEPs propose internal rules to formalise functioning of European Parliament in exceptional circumstances

On Monday 12 October, the Committee on Constitutional Affairs (AFCO) adopted the draft report prepared by Gabriele Bischoff (S&D, Germany) by a large majority (by 26 votes to zero against, with two abstentions), thereby proposing to amend Parliament's Rules of Procedure to allow it to function in as normal a manner as possible in exceptional circumstances (see EUROPE B12527A13).
