London cannot “unilaterally change” withdrawal agreement on an orderly Brexit, warns Ursula von der Leyen

The United Kingdom cannot “unilaterally change” the content of the withdrawal agreement that has been negotiated “line by line for 3 years”, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen reacted on Wednesday, 2 days after the UK Parliament gave its first green light to the UK’s Internal Market Bill containing provisions that violate the Northern Ireland Protocol (see EUROPE B12560A21).
