Mr Borrell reaffirms that EU support will be conditional

15/09/2020 (Agence Europe) – High Representative of the Union Josep Borrell told Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on 14 September that EU support for his country would not come without conditions. According to a statement by the European External Action Service (EEAS), “the High Representative stressed the EU’s readiness to remain engaged and to fulfil its political commitments towards the people of Afghanistan on their path towards peace, security, stability and self-reliance”....
