European Parliament adopts its resolution on Commission's action plan on fight against money laundering

10/07/2020 (Agence Europe) – MEPs adopted by a large majority (534 votes in favour, 25 against and 122 abstentions) on Friday 10 July a resolution on the Commission's action plan to combat money laundering (see EUROPE B12482A8). The final text (see EUROPE B12524A11) welcomes in particular the Commission's intention to present a proposal for a European anti-money laundering monitoring body and welcomes the transformation of part of the existing Directives into regulations.
