23/06/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday, 23 June, European External Action Service spokesperson Peter Stano announced that the EU-facilitated dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo is expected to resume in July, while noting that discussions were still ongoing regarding the date. “Both sides agreed to resume the talks”, the spokesperson explained to reporters. The dialogue has been suspended since November 2018, and some media outlets announced it would resume on 25 June, namely 2 days before the meeting between Serbian and Kosovar leaders in Washington. Should the dialogue not resume this week, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Kosovar Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti are expected to travel to Brussels, separately, “at the end of the week”, according to Mr Stano.
