Covid-19, EU announces €55.1 million to help refugees and host communities in Jordan and Lebanon

On 10 June the European Commission announced the mobilisation of €55.1 million from the EU Trust Fund for Syrian refugees and vulnerable people in Jordan and Lebanon, to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.

Lebanon will receive €34.6 million, including €10 million to ensure the distribution of drinking water from the municipal network, €10 million for the medical management of mild cases in light of the pandemic, €6 million for essential hygiene kits and infection prevention and control...
