Torch handed over to EU Council on privacy of online communications

08/06/2020 (Agence Europe) – The draft regulation on the confidentiality of electronic communications (e-Privacy) will be on the agenda of the EU Council Working Party on Telecommunications on Thursday 11 June. However, this will only be a short discussion to ensure a smooth transition to the German Presidency, which is due to take over the EU Council on 1 July, according to a source from the Croatian Presidency.
