Malta resolves to disembark more than 400 migrants rescued at sea

08/06/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission said on 8 June that it was relieved by Malta's decision to disembark 425 migrants who had been detained on several tourist vessels for several days and weeks on its territory. The European Commission will continue to seek a relocation solution between Member States. On 7 June, Malta announced the disembarkation of 425 people from Libya who had been rescued in the Mediterranean over the course of several rescue operations since April....
